LEANNE AUCOIN

Leanne resides in Sydney Mines and comes from a musical family. She began stepdancing at an early age under the direction of Jean MacNeil and later began playing fiddle and piano receiving lessons from multi-instrumentalist Allie Bennett (fiddle) and Tracey Dares-MacNeil (piano).

She has been composing tunes in the last few years as well. She has had numerous musical influences over the years including her many music instructors, her grandfather, her father, Howie MacDonald and Brenda Stubbert. Leanne has recently completed her degree at St. FX University where she is obtaining a degree in Human Kinetics.
